The food was okay. I had the country fried steak and mashed potatoes, and the chicken super plate. The potatoes were a little lumpy and the gravy was awful (too much flour). The chicken super plate (chicken, corn, potatoes, gravy) was actually pretty good aside from a few of the pieces of chicken tasted like they were seasoned differently. My wife ordered some kind of dark chicken from the menu, I can't remember the name; But instead was given regular chicken tenders which she didn't like. We gave them a pass though. Our waiter was stoned out of his mind and it was actually pretty funny. The wait time was a little high. There weren't too many people in there either. My biggest gripe was probably whoever they had dj'ing on YouTube and overplaying Luke Bryant. But I'm not a huge fan of his so.. The experience wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. I think they should redo their menus as well. They're sort of all over the place.

This place offers a variety of foods not found elsewhere in Kirksville. Ranging from American, Indian, and Mediterranean, the food is crafted with excellence. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

This is BreyAnna Dennis, Guy's widow, I visited this diner today and the food was very delicious and tasty! Service was fast and crew was very friendly, very helpful! I highly recommend everyone try this New Diner because the food speaks for itself! Yummy! Big Daddy's gets a Big Thumbs up!👍😎
