        What a great surprise. We've been looking around for a good Mexican or Tex-Mex restaurant to replace a previous favorite, and despite the less-than-great rating (currently at 4.3), the food was awesome. Our server was most attentive, informative, and fun. Best Tex-Mex we've had in Kansas City in a long time.

        I ordered their famous beef tacos, and they did not disappoint! The meat was perfectly seasoned, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I also tried their signature margarita, which was the perfect accompaniment to my meal. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was lively with upbeat music playing in the background. Jalapenos Mexican Restaurant provided a delicious dining experience that left me craving more!
