If youre looking for a primary care to avoid going to the ER or urgent care, look somewhere else. To establish care I had to wait for 3 weeks before getting my first appointment. The staff and physician were friendly IN PERSON (cant say the same when speaking to them over the phone) but they forgot to call in my prescription and that issue was never resolved. If you are sick and need to see a doctor you will have to wait at least a week to get in. Most illnesses cant wait a week and the front desk staff will refer you to urgent care or the ER, without compassion. I am under the impression that your primary care physician is there so you do not have to use emergency resources and avoid the added cost? Not the case with this clinic. After only one appointment I will not return.

Dr Shadrach Smith is amazing. I have been Dr Smith's patient for over a decade. During that time I have lost 100 lbs through his treatment and care. He listens and takes great notes. He makes you accountable to your goals no matter how long it takes to achieve them. I feel so comfortable with Dr Smith I consider him my primary care physician and part time therapist. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the billing department at Emcompass leaves alot to be desired. I have tried for a year now to have them bill the appropriate insurance company for a service rendered in January 2020. Now all of a sudden they claim they cannot send a bill out to the insurance company after so long...but surely they can bill me for it. Wrong...I am not financially responsible for their billing issues within their group.

Dr. Shadrack Smith was horrible. Very rude. Dismissive. Sarcastic. Not at all how a medical professional should be to a patient in need of help. My daughter left in tears. There is no redeeming his inexcusable and inappropriate behavior.
