My obgyn referred me to St Luke's MFM for genetic screening for my first pregnancy. I love St. Luke's, but the organization and relaying of info from MFM is subpar. I had to reach out to the clinic to schedule since I had not heard from them at the 10 week mark to schedule a test that is routinely done around the 12 week mark. I was told a 3rd party that they use will contact me to schedule my phone consultation, and of course they didn't have anything available until 15 weeks. I did the phone consult and then the blood test was ordered. I go to the clinic to check in and pick up the blood work that gets mailed to a genetic blood test company. I get my results back and have a phone visit with thr 3rd party company again to go over results. They recommended my husband do the test too since I was a carrier for a couple things. I once again had to call MFM after there was no call initated by the recommendations by the 3rd party company that were faxed to them. The 3rd party company said we'd only do another visit if my husband came back as a carrier for the same things I did and we needed to discuss what to expect if we both were carriers. We call MFM to get the results of the blood test and they tell us we have to make an appointment with the 3rd party company to even get the results. Mind you on the blood test that is ordered a St. Luke's physician is the ordering provider. I finally had my original referring doctor request the results and they relayed the info to me.

If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. Nurse staff and doctors are incompetent and very not understanding. They run blood tests without approval and don’t give you a choice in the matter of what they want vs what makes you comfortable. I will never go to this hospital again.

I just want to say that this is the BEST hospital. They always were understanding and very helpful. I seen many doctors and had many great nurses due to being hospitalized multiple times during pregnancy.

I'm sadden to say my hospital stay here was not that great. Especially, being an employee at the hospital, I expected more. They defense, i delivered during COVID so I'm not sure if that played a part or not...1st horrible experienced: the nurse dropped my baby just 45 mins after birth. My poor baby's head went tumbling down the rails on the hospital bed...I'm 100% sure this incident was never reported by the nurse cause no one came to talk to us about the accident. I never received any lactation support, even though i kept asking for it. I had a -section, getting help or having ice, water and etc brought to me was no where to be found. I pushed myself to get better so i can leave early. Was stay was not pleasant. 😞
