My debit I was charged $1.02 more than what my receipt says I was supposed to be charged. Waitress rarely came to table. Only straws were only the tiny coffee stirring straws. Drinks hardly refilled. Served a 9-10 dollar burger on Styrofoam and it wasn't even great tasting for being so expensive.

I have been going to this location since I was still on my mother's hip. Right off the bat, the location they have is a delight. You can sit in the streetcar in which they hail their name, you can sit in one of the many tables in the dimly-lit crooner-style restaurant, or you can sit "outside" in a patio-esque style area and watch all of the Crown Center shoppers as you eat your food. The food is great, always serviced with a pickle, tomato and lettuce, and never fails to be exactly the same every time. The wait staff is experienced, getting your drinks quickly and efficiently, the food to you the second it comes out. A lot of people complain about the Styrofoam plates, but in truth I don't even have an issue with it. You go there for the burgers and sandwiches - why on earth would you insist on something that is generally in your hands to be placed occasionally down on a porcelain plate? I love this place. Always have, always will. There is seriously no one more saddened by their approaching closing than I am.

The prices were a little high, especially since my food was served on Styrofoam. The service was rushed, we received our check before our food and our waitress seemed too rushed to bother with us. The food was just mediocre and I truly believe they get business due to the fact that the entrance looks like an old train, frankly it's what drew us in. Check the block and never again.

Despite all of the negative reviews, I decided to give this place a chance with my lovely lady. I'm glad I did! I went on 11/10/15 around 6pm. The wait staff was wonderful. They greeted and seated us right away. Their drinks are rather tiny compared to most restaurants in KC and I drink fast. So it was delightful that my cup was only empty once and only for a moment. The food was great! I had pork tenderloin and sweet potato fries. Both of our plates came out timely and hot. The tenderloin was a little bit dry but otherwise wonderful, the fries were were near perfect. All in all it was a great experience. It was slightly over priced but due to the service I feel the extra few dollars were well spent!
