Great food. New owner and new ideas, Large menu with daily specials that are great. They now serve wine, beer and liquor. The pasta is great ...steak sandwich is one of the best I have ever had. Catfish dinner on Friday Kicks ass., Chicken wings and waffle fries...Yummy. Big screen TVs and a care free atmosphere. Call in orders are prompt and packaged well.

I have been coming back here this year after a short hiatus. The food is amazing, people are super friendly. The lasagna is amazing and be sure to order some sausage. Alfredo is great too. I'm old school Italian and take my food seriously. Don't be afraid of any bad review. This is a must have.

So, I'm from Chicago. I have had some world-class sandwiches in my time. Coming from the land of the Italian beef, I have been extraordinarily disappointing with the food in the Monterey Peninsula. That is, until I discovered La Sala's. Holy smokes! These guys do good work, and they're fast. My favorite is their tri-tip sandwich, which they do twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays. Awesome sandwich. I also like their Italian beef, which you can get any day of the week. Granted, it is not like the beefs you get in Chicago, but it holds it's own, being different, and yet still classifiable as an Italian beef. I was impressed. I've tried a few other items, and they are all good. BBQ Beef, chicken, turkey.. This place does the trick. They have a deli slicer behind the counter, and slice your sandwich meat right in front of you. It comes out super thin, which I happen to love. Their ingredients are fresh, and their staff is fast and friendly. Nice beverage selection, too.
