EJ's Urban Eatery

Wanted to try something different this morning so I happened upon EJ's Urban Eatery. My daughter had the small biscuits and gravy (IT WAS HUGE!) and I had the breakfast burrito. Fantastic, satisfying southern comfort food. BOOM! Friendly staff and filled up quickly. We'll be back!

*2nd visit update- ordered the Brisket grilled cheese with fries this time. Was definitely better than the last visit. Margaritas taste pretty good but not sure they’re worth the 8.50 though. And this restaurant does not have any straws- kinda weird. Oh and service is slow, it took about 30 min before we got our food. I would caution coming on a lunch break. Overall I wouldn’t change my rating. 2 margaritas and sandwich/fries cost me $32 plus tip. A bit pricey imo. This place was on my list of restaurants to try based off the good reviews and their mouth watering pictures they post on Facebook. Unfortunately my experience was not great. The menu has many choices, it was hard for me to decide what to order. I ended up getting the meat and three.....brisket, fries, mac n cheese and dirty rice. I wasn't thrilled with any of it. The brisket was fatty and tough, the mac n cheese was cold and flavorless and same with the rice , was dry and had no flavor whatsoever. Although I was super disappointed I would be willing to try them again as my husband did like his Reuben sandwich and the drinks at the bar were decent.
