Michael Smith Restaurant

Reasonably good food. Interesting tastes, however, overpriced for the sake of appearance. Perhaps a more distinguishing palette would think differently. Good place to take a special date, I would imagine. Maybe only if you have very full pockets though.

Great atmosphere for a group of 12 people. You can order food from Extra Virgin menu. They have variety of unique dishes. Michael Smith came out of the kitchen to greet us. Was a great dinner experience.

Our second trip to Michael Smith restaurant for a Restaurant Week meal. We've been two years in a row. First, the hostess to the waitress and all other staff we encountered we're 5 stars. Very welcoming, very helpful, very well done. Second, the special menu for this week did not seem as good as last year. The salad was okay. The desserts we're not special at all. The main courses we're fine, but the rigatoni was al dente to the point of not thoroughly cooked. The pomodoro sauce was delicious. It's nice to try restaurants that we do not frequent often. And I would encourage anyone who has not been here to try it. I just found this meal less than spectacular.
