UPDATE 4/4/19: We never got our TV back, and have now seen the Crime Stoppers news team investigating him for doing this to countless others. Original post: Insists on cash only, never returns calls. Says he works at Garmin at night so can't always be reached. My husband can only reach him by going in person several times a day until he finally answers the door. Said TV would be done in two days, was a simple job, and would be $100. After two weeks passed, my husband finally caught him and the guy said he and his mother had been sick and that he would take $20 off for the trouble and have it done in two more days time. Another month passed. My husband finally caught him again in person and the guy was fumbling his words; said it was going to be a more expensive part after all and not worth. My husband observed that the TV was in a million parts and in the same exact position it was in when he was there last. He knew the guy hadn't done anything more to the TV and was lying. Now he won't answer the door even though his truck is in the driveway. Yet another month has passed and we still don't have the TV. We plan to get it back even though it is not fixed. We may have to bring the police with us to get him to answer the door.
