D. Dooley's 026 Grill

I have been going to Dooley's for years and very much liked it, until they moved. I don't know what happened but the servers have continually either been rude or completely unknowledgable. The last time my friend & I went, we were the only people in the dining area during a late lunch. I brought my baby with me. No one sat us, I signaled over to the bartender if I could seat myself. After waiting, I finally got the highchair myself, and our menus. We requested all flat wings & was reassured that, that was possible. The waiter brought us all drummies. He did attempt to correct the problem, but when he brought the flats back , half were cold. I got a burger & asked for it to be cooked well done. Thank goodness I cut it in half before I took a bite b/c it was medium rare at best. I wanted to talk to a manager, which seemed to be a hassle & took forever. Finally, when she came out she did not want to hear what I had to say, rather was trying to pick my baby up while he was strapped in. I told her to please not do that, & then she continued to unstrap him & pick him up anyway. I then tried to explain how the overall experience was not good. She finally asked if I would like my burger recooked. I said no, I was over it, and had been there for over a hour & a half by this point. My son was getting irritable & I just wanted to leave. She did take it off my bill, but still charged me for the wings, 2 drinks & my friends meal, even though he didn't touch it since he felt bad for me. She did offer to box his up but that was not an option since we were not going home anytime soon. There was no other compensation offered. That was & will be the last time I go there.

Every bit of food I've had here has been fantastic. Decor is pleasant but nothing to shout over. Service has been slow at times but nothing but friendly. It's definitely worth visiting!
