They are very professional. They keep me informed every step of the way since our puppy was born. They gave the information and tips i needed as a first time husky buyer. Sarah is very prompt in her communication with buyers. Will be back again in the near future.

We are so grateful with RVK for Our fur baby cooper! He is the most sweet, smart and loving dog we could ever ask for we get compliments every time we walk him and people cant stop telling us how cute he is. We are so happy and so in love with our pup, he is perfectly healthy and very very spoiled

I purchased my Irish setter, Finn, in January 2012 and my sweet baby just turned 10 years old!! Finn has been a very healthy and a energetic dog, most people dont believe me when I tell them he is 10. Rose valley kennel is the only breeder I would ever buy from. Its been a privilege to have Finn in my life and I hope I get to keep spoiling him for many more years to come!

It took me about three years to write this because the experience was so traumatic but I feel a responsibility to share this.I picked up a puppy from a Dallas x Hattie litter. His name was Dave when I bought him. His name is now Finn. I was handed him through the window of the car. It was covid, and I understood that but I wasn’t allowed outside which I found odd. His nails had been cut, but not well and so he bled all over me and the car. I have other dogs and so of course I know this happens but it seemed a little haphazard with an 8-week old puppy. We flew home. He was in my care 100 percent of the time. I picked him up on a Saturday and he had a vet appointment scheduled for Monday, the first time they were open, at 1p.I noted that for a puppy he seemed awfully sleepy, but I chalked it up to the possible trip from Missouri to MT on the plane, being moved from his first home, etc. Little did I know that it was actually a symptom of what was to come. We went for Finn’s first walk on Monday morning, and he seemed particularly tired so I picked him up to walk him. When we got back to the house, he went to go inside and as he moved toward the house, he doubled over in pain and shrieked. I had never heard a noise out of a dog like that so I called my vet. His appointment was at 1, but it was 10a and I was worried so they said I could bring him in early.Luckily I trusted my gut and did that because he wouldn’t have lived if I waited. By the time I got to the vet, Finn was yelping in pain and had labored breathing. I could hear him in the back literally screaming as he got his x-rays. The vet, for the grace of god, diagnosed him very quickly with a diaphragmatic hernia. This is a small hole in the diaphragm that is a result of blunt trauma (he had of course zero of that in my care) or it is congenital. His stomach and spleen had moved through the hole and were choking him.The vets put him immediately on oxygen - his bpm was 220. A normal puppy bpm ranges between 120-160. They rushed him at the fastest they could drive to the specialist 30 minutes away and he immediately went into emergency surgery to save his life. He was tiny. No more than 10 libs.I immediately started calling the breeder. I thought they’d be concerned. I thought they’d care. I didn’t hear back for at least 24-hours. They then suggested that something had happened between the time he left their care and went home to me. That was absolutely preposterous. I hadn’t let him out of my sight. My numerous vets found that preposterous. Their assessment was that he had a congenital condition (at which case, Dallas and Hattie should no longer be breeding puppies).Eventually they sent me $1440 back to refund me for Finn’s initial payment. His surgery cost me $5000.I asked probably 5x to speak with their vet, and I was not pointed in the direction of any vet. I took it upon myself to call every vet I could find in a 50 mile radius because I needed to understand Finn’s care. Every vet I spoke with said they didn’t work with Rosevalley kennel. I don’t trust that he ever saw a vet or had a vet check. My vets didn’t trust this either and we had to then restart all of Finn’s vaccines, adding further cost.A day later after Finn’s surgery, I got a call telling me that he had made it through the night through the grace of God. All of my vets were appalled at the non-response of the breeder. When I tell you I hope that nobody goes through the absolute hell I went through not only watching this tiny little creature try to survive, but then the absurd way they handled it, that would be an understatement.Don’t work with this breeder. I don’t trust them. See below for the photos.
