      image Dishonest. Quoted me @ $300 for new alternator. (typically in the $150 range) My alternator was fine and all I needed was a new battery. I would of paid $675 total for a new alternator/battery/labor. I went to an honest mechanic and he just replaced the battery and did tests to ensure that the alternator was in good condition.
