I can't go too many days without wanting a steak. There are not too many choices for a good steam in Columbia, MO but I am so glad that we found this little gem. I called a few hours earlier to get a reservation. We we arrived our table was set and waiting for us. When dining the food is important, but so is the service. At this place both the food and service were excellent! Out waiter Sean was very friendly and helpful. He made several recommendations to our table and he did not miss with one of them. I started off with the Caprese Salad and loved it. It was so fresh flavorful. For my meal I enjoyed a flavorful and perfectly cooked KC Stockyard Strip. I also opted for the super yummy creamy gorgonzola sauce.

What started out as a friendly chat with the
waiter ended up as a nightmare. I actually
had the waiter tell me " I thought I was
worth more than that," when we were discussing
tips. I actually thought he was joking with me
at first than he became non-communicative as
we left...
The food was extremely overpriced. I received
about 5 asparagus spears and our steak was
near the order. Later the waiter said the cook
admitted the grill hadn't been hot enough. One
steak was 28 dollars one was 24, 4 shrimp 13
bucks but the kicker was the comment on an
otherwise beautiful weather night.
I hope the gentleman learns his manners.
Anyway if you want to eat a reasonably priced
meal with your family don't go here.
I'm sorry that the gift certificate only covered
2/3rds of the price. Sorry Steve but thanks
anyway....

What a great place to eat. The food is amazing, service is attentive, and atmosphere is perfect. A great place to stop by after work or bring a date. The prices are high - but not unreasonable for the portions and quantity of food you get. I would highly recommend to anyone!
