SCAM YOU FOR MONEY!!!
My family and I lived in a rental house in Arbor Pointe for 2 years. Overall the house was nice, but when issues would arise with things like refrigerator/freezer, tile flooring/grout, etc. We either got a half-ass repair that would break again or no repair at all!! We either had a "maintenance" man fix the refrigerator that would still not work over and over, or they just left the chipping grout until it was time for them to sell the house, but wouldn't fix the floor for us...only to prep for sale of house. Then to add to it, dealing with the office assistant was painful. She would tell you her entire days work and all her troubles and why she never called you back before she even got to the actual topic of the original phone call. THEN to top it all off... they SCAMMED us out of our deposit. We were excellent renters, always paid on time, clean, and quiet. Upon moving out I spent 20+ hours cleaning the house over a weeks time period after we had already moved out. We even had a walk through where they noted some things they wanted cleaned further and I did go back and do most of those. The house was cleaner after I was done that it was when we first moved in! I was informed by Suzanne the office lady that things looked pretty good and of our 1400 dollar deposit she was expecting us to get back $900-$1000 back, because they had to clean carpets, paint/repairs that were expected. After waiting a month we finally got our check in mail for less than $500 and never received any notice or phone call that we would be receiving less than expected. After looking at itemized cleaning and maintenance sheet, they double and triple charged for cleaning and had ridiculous hours clocked for simple repairs, like drive time to dumpster and 2-3hrs to install screen door. I called to question the charges and was talked to like I was stupid and had "no idea" what I was talking about. They are scammers that like to cheat you out of your money by holding you to impossible cleaning standards that they don't even hold themselves to when you move in!! BEWARE and I would steer clear if you want what money is rightfully yours!!
