I received a bill in the mail a few days ago for almost $200 more than what I had already paid. I called and was told this was due to them underestimating what insurance would cover...
That's unacceptable. Do not underestimate to get customers in the door. That's very shady business practice. You're doing the equivalent of mortgage lenders not estimating the correct property taxes for escrow with full knowledge knowing they will be higher next year.
If you come here be aware you could very well be paying much more than what they "estimate" like I did. Out of all the dentists I've been to this is the first time this has ever happened, so no, don't blame insurance.
