VERY disappointing! I called to get an estimate, spoke with John of Golden Oak Co who was answering the phone for Columbia Fence and he scheduled an appointment for the following Thursday @ 9:00am, 2 days from our conversation. I should have gotten a hint they did not want my business as his conversation was discouraging from the beginning. So i guess it should have been no surprise when he was a NO CALL, NO SHOW the following Thursday. (Yes, I DID provide a good phone #) Would NOT recommend if John is a representation of the company.

Avoid this company! They agreed seven weeks ago to install forty feet of fence and asked for $700 up front for materials. They cashed my check and never called me again. They will answer emails, but only with a "Too wet this week" or "We think we can get it next week." Seven weeks later, no fence, and now they won't return my calls or answer my emails.

Horrible experience! Lack of communication, never got an honest answer for when they would work on the fence. Brandon, the owner, hung up on me. Once the fence was put in, several post were filled to the brim with concrete. Tried to over charge for 10 extra feet of fencing. Don't worry about leaving a message, they wont call you back or they will completely ignore what you've discussed. If there was a way to leave less than one star, I would.

Outstanding work! Finished a 450 foot fence in a day! Looks awesome and the price was perfect. Get a bid from these guys!

One Year Later Edit:
The fence is fine, still standing strong no issues. The deck's bones are real sturdy. But we're still having LOTS of issues with the deck boards. We had to have Brandon send guys out 3-4 times while we were in warranty to replace warped & gapping boards. Sometimes they wouldn't screw the planks down at all or they'd re-use planks, all of it leading more warping issues. We stain & treat the wood, so it's not a sun warping issue. The boards are tripping hazards with big gaps to the point where the missus had to buy an outdoor rug to cover up the issues.
Our deck was built by two different crews and you can see a clear line where the deck goes from professional to amateur. Brandon was very understanding with us and kept sending out guys to replace boards, but at this point I'm considering it a lost cause and will have to fix it myself.

We got a deck and fence. The fence (posts and all) was put up in a single day! They did a great job, it's a few months later it still holds I up and looks great.
The deck had some issues, wood shrinkage left big gaps in the deck. But Brandon came out with his guys and fixed everything to our exacting standards!
They do good work and they stand behind their word.
