Columbia CPA Group, LLC

Columbia CPA Group may be great when it comes to filing taxes, but I would not recommend them for when it comes to handling an audit. I was audited for 2016 and owed quite a bit. I paid them $450 initially and provided them will the necessary documents to complete the audit. The IRS did not accept my college transcripts alone as proof of my college expenses. I then provided them with an itemized statement from the school, which they charged me another $215 to file.. Currently the IRS still shows I owe the original amount 4 months later. Kier suggest I try calling the IRS myself to check on the status of their response because Arik couldn't get through to them or pay them an additional $200 and they will file a complaint with the Taxpayer's Advocate Office... What? What happened to standing behind your product. TLDR: I'm in $665 and no farther then where I started and Columbia CPA Group wants more money.

I’ve been doing business with Aric for at least 13 years, maybe more. When I first started working with Aric my taxes were easy. I also didn’t know a thing about how taxes worked back then. Over the years my taxes have grown from 1040ez filings to 1040s with Schedule Cs, Schedule Es, and 1120s’ with multiple K1 carry overs. I’ve learned a lot about taxes due to Aric’s patience and a willingness to not just do my taxes but also explain why he does what he does with my returns. He’s helped me keep more and more money year over year from the IRS by teaching me how to better keep records and what to keep records of. He’s advised me about business ventures and investment opportunities. I strongly recommend using Columbia CPA group. You simply won’t find a better accountant in the Mid-Missouri area.
