Best place was awesome very affordable laid-back service was on hand swimming pool workout gym laundromat it was awesome and the girls and the guys at the front desk we're awesome thank you for an affordable pleasant stay you guys are a lifesaver I will always recommend this place Nearby activities: There are swimming pools workout room laundry room and you are located in the middle of all the restaurants which is awesome

Had a business deal the next day. This was a booking on the way there. Sarah was great and ensured the room was prepared correctly. They did a great job and greeted me with a big welcome. Hotel was decorated for Easter. Great experience Rooms: It was more than expected

Have stayed at Candlewood before at different areas but this one didn't do them justice, bed rock hard, heater sounded like a jet plane taking off until it finally started running, being on the traffic side for a room I listened to road noise all night Overall I still like them.

Reply to the owners response: Interesting how the "glitch" deleted our affordable $130 reservation. I wonder if it deleted it for reservations that replaced it for more money? Review: I regret to say that my experience with Candlewood Suites in Cape Girardeau was extremely disappointing. Despite having booked a room almost a year in advance for a reasonable rate of $130 so my family could make lifetime memories viewing the solstice, my reservation was inexplicably canceled without any prior notification. It was only when I called about 10 days before my stay that I was informed of this cancellation. I am officially giving them 0 stars. What's more frustrating is that there was no attempt by Candlewood Suites to inform me of this cancellation or offer any alternatives. It appears they may have canceled my reservation simply because they realized they could charge a much higher rate due to the high demand for accommodations during the solstice period. Thankfully, Expedia came to my rescue. Despite Candlewood Suites' refusal to honor their confirmation, Expedia not only secured me a new and superior room but also covered the additional cost difference. For their exceptional customer service and professionalism, Expedia deserves all the praise, earning them a solid 10 stars in my book. Unfortunately, I cannot extend the same commendation to Candlewood Suites. Their lack of communication, failure to honor confirmed bookings, and apparent prioritization of profit over customer satisfaction are highly concerning. I strongly advise potential guests to exercise caution when considering staying at this establishment.
