We had our alternator replaced here. While they were at it we let them replace the battery. This was because they wanted to be sure it wasn't the battery acting up. Understandable because the alternator isn't exactly an easy repair. It took a bit longer than they said but like I said-not the easiest repair due to location. A month and a couple days later we were driving home in the dark and thunderstorms and ended up limping along behind our son with barely any power and basically no lights for the rest of the 2 hour trip. My son ended up replacing the brand new alternator after he fixed the mess they made of the wipers too. Only one of the bolts on the alternator was remotely tight. He actually unscrewed the rest by hand-no tools required! Called the company multiple times. Their solution for us was taking the now nondrivable vehicle 4 hours to their shop so they could replace the by then bad alternator. How much is a four hour tow? Anyway, sent them pictures, got it replaced, and were told to bring the alternator in and they would give us a different alternator. (What good is an extra alternator? Maybe they thought my son's repair would only last that long too?) Well, the repair was on a Monday but apparently they were no longer open on that day when we went down to take them the bad alternator. (It's my husband's only day off) Our assumption was that they should at least refund our money for the bad part and repair and replacement of the bad alternator that likely only quit because it was installed improperly. Guess we were wrong. On one call they offered my husband half of the money for that part of the repair. That was after another call where we were told that guy no longer worked there so they would do nothing. You get the idea. We never did get any money back, but thanks to our son the new alternator we bought and he installed is still going strong. I sure would not recommend these mechanics to anyone. To begin with I would have given them credit for being nice and taking our car in on a holiday Monday even if we did end up having to stay an extra day so they could finish the repair but NO WAY now. Repairs should last more than a month and a couple days and when a company obviously messes up they should do something about it.

I want to thank these people especially Beth for her help today. We were stranded at the gas station. They went out of their way to make sure we made back on the road again. Thank you for your help!!

Personally I wouldn't even give it one star. It's worth spending a little more for customer service and no attitude. Tow company took my car there so I had no choice but to use them unless I wanted to pay to have it towed someplace else. They never answer the phone, didn't call back with updates as they said they would and had to get the part twice because it went bad after 3 weeks. Hassle. I don't know how the get more stars unless they know someone who works there. To outsiders, find someone else.
