        My husband and I recently put in an offer on a potential home and we were using Academy Mortgage to use our VA Home Loan. The underwriters at this company denied our loan 2 days before we were supposed to close without a reasonable explanation, potentially leaving us and our children without a home. I am just thankful that Wendy McDermott is helpful and understanding. Don't use this company if you are a Veteran.
