We apologize for the hat, our technicians did work for that business and they gave them a free hat. Our policy is to wear only About Plumbing hats or our vendors hats which relate to our business. We talked to the technician about the hat and have remedy that from happening again. We drug test our employees to insure that we get people that would be good employees for us, hopefully without any addictive behaviors that would be detrimental to our customers, our business and other employees. This technician was free from any substances as is all our employees. Again, sorry for the hat.The $315 installation charge for the outdoor frost free faucet was quoted to you before the service and you agreed to that.The shower leaking problems can be difficult, we can not carry all the parts needed to repair any faucet, that is impossible. If you count all the manufactures, models and makes of every valve on the market, without exaggeration, there are over a thousand parts needed. If we need to match up the part needed for the repair we have to charge you for the time needed to find the part. Most of the time that can be and usually is more expensive than installing a new valve, unless it would be a part that is readily available to us. We can repair and fix most Delta's and Moen's valves on the spot but, even then we don't carry all the parts for those manufactures.We gave you the option to let us find the part or replace the valve and you declined. What we we supposed to do at that point?We prefer satisfied customers, we apologize that we were unable to meet your expectations. For the installation of the frost free faucet of $315 is our standard price for all our customers, we don't change it.Thanks Greg
