Poor experience...Poinsettia delivered today was Tiny and cost 45.00. Sending it back. Will not use this florist.

Mrs G., I am sorry that you were so upset with the gift that your Son bought for you for Christmas. To start, you forgot to state that you spent over 20 minutes on the phone berating, yelling and belittling me for a gift that your Son purchased for you that you told him not to, before you even mention what your complaint was about. As you told me more than once you could have gone to Wal-Mart and got it cheaper. Mrs G., I do not buy my plants or flowers from them. In support of our local businesses I purchase my products from them. Since your Son did not come to me directly, he order the plant through an internet based floral gift business, who sent the order to me out of one of 17 other florist in this area to fill and deliver. They set the price, the style and the size of the product, not me. Your description of a “TINY” plant is misleading, I take pictures of every item that leaves here and the item in question was not a tiny plant it was a large plant in a Christmas basket. So let me break down the cost for you; Internet business charged you son $45.00 for the plant, not me. In turn they took out 38% for fees and handling before I see the order. I hand picked the best looking plant from our local greenhouse at a cost of $17.90. I paid the delivery driver $7.00. That left me $3.90, now that covers all my time and expenses for looking for a plant for you, packaging, paying for business operating cost. So after all the yelling, berating, bullying, character assignation of me and my business; I would have made .09 cents off this Christmas order by a Son to his Mom. But, don’t forget in simple edited language you demanded that I return to your house and have that plant removed. This costs me additional $7.00. So after your emotional yelling on the phone and falsely blasting me, what did you gain?
