        Kevin and his team at Made in the Shade were amazing to work with. Kevin made sure that our custom shutters were exactly what we wanted. His professionalism and knowledge of the business was evident the first day we met him. He never pressured us, simply got to know us so that he could deliver a product that he would be proud of and that we would love. Our shutters turned out beautiful and made all the difference in our home! (Plus we love that we can still open them up completely so the dog can continue to look out our full length windows) We would recommend Made in the Shade every time! And we are so thankful to have found them

        I called Kevin when my wife and I were at a loss on what we could put on our front and back doors. We wanted privacy, but we also wanted to be able to see outside at the same time. Kevin came by the house and proposed a few solutions, a few weeks later the shades were installed and we’re completely satisfied customers.       Kevin Maxwell is the owner of the newly established Made in the Shade Mid-South. Previously, Kevin was in the Industrial Services business for 39 years where he served the roles of EVP of Engineered Solutions, President and General Manager. During his time in this field, he oversaw operations and strategic planning that resulted in significant business development. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and camping with his wife, Lorie. They have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. They reside in Southaven, MS. Kevin has always had a passion for becoming an entrepreneur, connecting with his clients, and using his talents to produce creativity in ones home. Those are the reasons he joined Made in the Shade family. He finds pride and fulfillment in the work he does for others and inspires to transform the look of your home with the proper window treatments desired.
