There was a respectful variety of dishes. Our waitstaff was engaging and a delight. I'd place this solidly in the "comfort food" category. The singular meatball had me at first bite even as the spagetti sauce was on the OK level.

I went to eat here with trepidation, since many of the reviews were rough, but I was pleasantly surprised. Theres nothing fancy about the restaurant, but food was hot and delicious, and there were no loud people (thats always been a pet peeve of mine in Ridgeland/Jackson). Service was good and the place looks like an old fashioned Italian restaurant like youd see in an old movie. Again, the place is rustic and could use a few updates, but it is a good little place for authentic Italian food.

We LOVE Fratesis. One of our favorite places to dine with friends. Always great service. The atmosphere is quiet. And the food is always AMAZING!!!
