        Peggys has always been one of my favorite places to stop and eat..... good country food in an atmosphere that feels like eating at home. Fix your own plate at the "bar" in the kitchen.... and pay based on the honor system.... put your money in the cash Bowl when you get ready to go.

        This is the best "soul" food in the area, unfortunately due to illness in the family, Peggy's is closed until further notice. Sending prayers for healing Larry. Sure do miss "pork chop Thursdays"!
