It fits what I need. Medicine Management. But if you're looking for someone to sit and listen to you on a weekly basis then no it's not for your needs. To get a Therapist you may be able to get, but a follow up could take 6 weeks. So be aware of that.

How do you all see Dr. Ridgeway? I came to this facility a few years ago. Only been seen probably 4 times. Five minutes each time. I see someone named Baker. From my understanding he's not even a pych doc...I'm from Pennsylvania and I had a whole team..on call..when I needed them. This place. You get scheduled a months apart. I requested a therapist..still have not seen or heard about it. When talking to Baker..he looks at the computer the whole time n doesn't listen. I have bipolar 1 and borderline personality along with other things. So me trying to manage this without help..is be coming hell. I have bad anxiety n panic attacks....I feel Mississippi is a$$ backwards on so many things. And the mental health system doesn't do squat. ....

My mom has Lewy Body Dementia and went into the Pascagoula inpatient behavioral health center after not being able to lift her head up at all. She had two weeks of rehab at the hospital. They took her walker away, labeled her a fall risk, and insisted on pushing her around in a chair. Instead of helping her to the bathroom, they put diapers on her. They locked her up in a zipper tent at night after giving her sleeping shots and putting diapers on her, so they wouldnt have to take her to the bathroom. They sat her in front of a TV most of the day. They gave her highly processed food and over-medicated her. Everytime I called, they were trying a new drug on her. One time I called she sounded drunk out of her mind, and they tried to tell me it was because of lack of sleepno doubt that was some new happy drug. They didnt let her go outside for fresh air once during a two week stay. She came home hallucinating from the drugs, walking around at night, and unable to use the toilet herself. I picked her up from that inhumane place two weeks ago, and she has been clean eating and juicing here. She can now use the bathroom herself, take her own showers, she stays in bed all night, and she no longer hallucinates. She exercises daily and even walks in one mile races! I have drastically reduced her medication and drastically increased supplementation. She spends at least 45 minutes grounding outside each daybare-feet on the ground, getting her Vitamin D, & she has very limited TV access with no news. These are free and help tremendously! Get your aged ones outside. Do not send your loved ones to the behavioral health care center. It is inhumane! The picture in black robe is right before she went into the hospital and the picture of her in blue was taken this morning.
