The Cornerstone Restaurant

Cheese curds were delicious. Had the whole fried flounder with fries and side salad. All of which I would order again.

Today is Good Friday (03-29-2024) so we dipped into the Cornerstone restaurant for lunch. We ordered catfish / stuffed crabs, salad baked potato. (We have another review following this review from previous visits.) Today, our waiter Loren Hill was absolutely excellent and very warm and beautiful. Perfect timing. The food is always great too. Thanks again Cornerstone Gautier. ( previous review ) Yeah baby !!! Great food and great service!! Coast Casual. Our waiter is / was Linda and she is excellent and as sweet as they come. Beautiful warm hearted character and extremely skilled. Im 67 years old from the Coast and I seldom order shrimp because I can cook them as well as anyone but tonight I wanted some fresh fried shrimp. Best shrimp I have ever had period!!! Very reasonably priced and my wife and I brought food home for tomorrow delicious salad and perfect baked potato. Thank you Cornerstone for a wonderful dinner!!!! This is exactly what fresh gulf seafood is suppose to taste like!!!

I ate a Bayou Greater Tator and onion straws. Both was fabulous I forgot to take a picture. My bad. My husband had spagetti and meatballs. I like it. But he wanted those crab claws I'll do better next time on the pics. Kid-friendliness: My niece is 3 years old( aka. Chicken wang) and she enjoyed herself. She got a chicken tender meal with sprite. Sprite was awesome .
