My 96 year old mom and I just left Comers. We had the weekday special... one meat and two sides dessert and a drink for $9.95. When I went to pay the bill I noticed that it was more than it should have been so I asked her how much she charged us and she said $10.80 each. I told her that was the weekend special price and we were supposed to be charged $9.95. She then told me that they had raised their prices and that $10.80 was right despite the fact that it was $9.95 on the menu. On our way home I was thinking about this and it bothered me so I called back to find out if we had been over charged. First I spoke to the young lady who answered the phone and asked her how much the weekend special would cost tomorrow. She said it would be $10.80. I then told her we had been charged that today. She replied that Friday is considered the weekend so we were charged the correct amount. After I pointed out that we only got two sides so we obviously had the weekday special she put me on hold to double-check with someone else . Then one of the owners got on the phone and after hearing what happened he offered to give us back the amount we were overcharged. He did try to justify what his employees had done and never said he was sorry about the fact that they had purposefully overcharged us and lied about the price when questioned about it....not once but twice!!! I think it should be noted that we are not locals. Mom was born here but has not lived here in decades and I am a Yankee. I feel that we were treated differently because we're not from around here. All I have to say is bless your hearts Comers employees and owner Apparently charging the prices on the menu is beyond you. My advice to future customers from out of town is check your bill so you don't get overcharged like we did. It may have only been $2 but it was the principle and the way we were treated that really hurt.. As a result of all of the efforts exhibited today Comers receives the Weasel of the Week Award. Congratulations all!!!

I order Cajun grilled chicken sandwich but could hardly taste the seasoning.
