I was referred to have a sleep study done through Integrated Sleep Solutions of Gulfport in May of 2017. They weren't able to schedule me an appointment until 6 weeks later. I thought that was normal. I had my first sleep study done. I received excellent attention from a knowledgeable technician. I was told I needed a second sleep study. They couldn't get me in until 6 weeks after that. Then I needed an appointment with Dr. Douglas to review my results, get a diagnosis and get a prescription for a CPAP machine. I wasn't able to see him until 6 weeks after my sleep study. When I saw him, I got my diagnosis. That day I was told that they didn't have the machine I needed and they had to get one rush delivered for the next day. They close at 3 on Friday so I had to take a half day off work to go get it so I wouldn't have to wait to start my treatment. I was told that getting the machine was a walk in, grab it and leave thing. On my way to the clinic the next afternoon, I was called and told there was a chemical spill in the office and that they have to reschedule every appointment. I can't get my machine until 4 days from now because Labor Day is on Monday. Dr. Douglas is very knowledgeable and he really knows what he is doing. He took his time to talk to me, was very thorough and he answered all of my questions. I have major sleep issues and this has been stretched out over 3 months. If you want care in a timely manner, DO NOT go through this clinic. Find a clinic that can handle a higher volume of patients. I have been miserable through this process because of poor sleep. This clinic has been paid A LOT to give me the care I need and they just are not able to handle the volume of patients that they accept so this ordeal has lasted what feels like forever. I am incredibly frustrated and upset.
