(Update for 2022) They're open again with a new owner Rick! Popped in for breakfast a few days ago. The two egg special was filling and delicious and oh so affordable. Miss Annie fixed my eggs "dippy" when requested and served up the best, creaminess grits I've EVER had! Wheat toast, bacon, coffee and cream kept me as satisfied as the conversations with all the regulars. (I've been advised that the burgers here beat all the other restaurants near base.) Service was friendly and cheerful. They're down a server at the moment, but I wasn't waiting long. They even made a fresh pot of coffee for me This is still a favorite spot that I'll be sure to visit again soon! (A year ago) Remember all those diners in American films - Small town restaurants featuring honestly food, friendly workers and tables filled with chatting locals? The place where you sit in a cozy booth, sip your coffee and watch the early morning traffic? Pull up to The Palace Grille and find a spot of Americana that's as satisfying to your soul as it is to your stomach. They're open for breakfast and lunch with daily lunch specials like grandma used to make. (The meatloaf is amazing!) Cash only though, so you may need to stop by an ATM. (Luckily there's a bank down the block. ;) To sum it up - good people, great food and relaxing as a breakfast spot can come. Don't miss out!
