Great experience! My technician Gary located the problem with my dryer quickly and was able to order the parts I needed for it to run again. When he came back with the parts he got it up and running within minutes! Would definitely recommend!

Jim or Tim collected a prepayment of $225 for a part they should have known they couldn't get because they don't make them anymore. I ordered a remanufactured part myself and had it installed by Cates Appliance Repair, who did an OUTSTANDING job. I called this franchise, which does not have an office (not surprising) over the course of 3 months to get my prepayment refunded, and now that the check has finally come in, this guy took $95.23 out of my prepayment for absolutely NOTHING!! This guy. Jim or Tim, I couldn't understand his mumbling, is unconcerned with personal integrity. At the least, he is ignorant for not knowing he couldn't get the part and greedy in taking $95 for himself when all he did was waste 3 months of my time.
Lesson learned. It's important to use local businesses who have a connection with their community and develop good relationships with their neighbors. Mr. Appliance is a big-box company and sadly, they don't care who their franchisees are. Never again with Mr. Appliances. I highly recommend Cates Appliance Repair. Service: Repair cooker / hob / oven
