If you love your family dont send them here!!!!!! The welding instructors were excellent Mr.Johnson and Mr.Boyd. Everything else was terrible. The staff are worse than the students. Its not a safe place. There are better places for an education/diploma. The staff belittle you, the food was okay sometimes. The culture was terrible. There were much more sinister things going on i will not comment on. Bottom line dont go!!!!!!!!

Learn your trade and get out of there. I made some good friends and learned a trade but the overview of this place was ridiculous. Things might have changed but when I was there it was worse than any jail I have ever been to. What i mean by that is no control or anyone to really enforce the rules. Constant fighting, several gangs, very little to no support to the ones being torture and tormented. I have met people wanting a new life and this was there last resort but tormented so bad they wanted to commit suicide. I ended up fine after fighting daily for the first week until I earned respect and they knew I was playing that bs but I felt terrible for.others and tried my best giving them my support. I was one of very few whites but after earning respect I was treated like family by students. As for the staff they would call me white boy and many other racial names.i have been cornered up by staff and a attempt to push me to react by shoving me but I knew that would be my one way ticket to out of there without my accomplishments.
