Well let me tell you, we just completed a swing through some of the southern states and just happened to stop in Cornith, MS. It was on Thursday so according to some of the wonderful, friendly staff in the Tax Office it was chocolate cake day at Martha's. So after walking around this quaint southern town we stopped in for our chocolate cake fix. first I have to say the people we met and talked with in town were without any doubt the most friendly and inviting folks, in the resturant we were quiclky identified as "tourist", the camera around my neck a give away. Let them know we were told about the chocolate cake by people in Town building we began to talk like we were from down the street, beautiful. We ordered 2 chocolate cakes. our cakes were delivered... a huge chunck of chocolate cake with a chocolate frosting, piece had to be 4" square, and all that for $1.00. Cake was superb, filling to say the least. The conversation when on and to be honest we would have spent even more time just talking but our schedule didn't allow for the time. Wonderful people and would recomend to anyone who is nearby to stop in and if it's Thursday order up a piece of chocolate cake, you won't be dissapointed. My only regret is that we ate lunch at Borrum's Pharmacy at not at Martha's, we just stopped in for desert, but if desert was any hint of what the home cooking at Martha's is like well ....we will definately revisit this wonderful resturant. Please note us regretting not stopping for lunch because we ate at Borrum's is in no way a knock against borrum's, it was honestly one of the most interesting places I have EVER visited for lunch. that's another review i will post. We loved Mississippi.......
