I'd been looking for a new purse and wallet to replace a quilted cotton set from a certain trendy manufacturer who shall remain nameless. Leather holds up extremely well, and I was delighted to find a company like Buffalo Billfold that uses bison leather. Little did I know that my dad would surprise me with a Dakota Buffalo Leather Purse and Wallet set! The company had to swap out the paired wallet with the envelope clutch wallet, since they were out of the American Chestnut color, but I've come to love this wallet just as well. Both the purse and wallet have been exceptional. I really like the details like the buffalo nickels and tassels. The detachable keyring and snap inside the purse make for a great feature - no more digging for my house keys! I can carry everything I need in both the purse and wallet, all contained in a slim profile. I know I will cherish these pieces for years to come.

Purchased one of these billfold about 20 years ago at aTwin City art fair. It is almost indestructible. The old version had no buffalo nickel, but appears identical in all other respects. To say the credit card pockets are expandable is an understatement, mine currently holds 24 cards! Close observation reveals credit cards "peeking through " at the corners. Made in the USA. right here in Minnesota. If I could, I'd give it 6 stars!

In fact, we have been called "trailblazers of the Bison leather industry." We only use the best full grain leather in our products. Our leather goods include wallets, billfolds, belts, purses, checkbook covers, coin cases, card cases, luggage, guitar accessories, computer accessories, historic reproductions, and more. We're friends with many of the Bison ranchers and work closely with tanneries to create the perfect leather. Our leather goods last far longer than most and will develop an amazing patina over time.
