Since the new owner/chef took over the Cherokee Tavern (formerly known as the Cherokee Sirloin Room) is one of the best restaurants in the St. Paul area. It isn't too big as you can carry on a conversation. It has been extensively remodeled and updated. We've been there many times. I'd highly recommend the Cherokee Tavern for a casual night out.

Last night 3/13/20 was our anniversary, we had not been to the Cherokee since the Casper's owned it. Upon our arrival we were seated right a way , greeted by the manager Joe , and our server Alan. The service was fantastic as was the food. Brian the owner came over and sat and visited. We were very pleased with everything and will be dining there more often . Thank you Joe & Jackie Volk

Chef crafted, incredible food. Not only that but Brian and his staff offer amazing service. Cozy warm atmosphere, good parking AND Muddy Paws Cheesecake is on their menu!!! Highly recommend!

Best Filet Mignon Iâ€™ve ever had! Service is great, food is great and booking our wedding here was a no brained with their beautiful and spacious private room!
