I live at Sherwood Glen in Urbandale. It used to be great, but maintenance is terrible now. No snow removal to get to the Amazon Locker so its inaccessible unless you can walk through huge snow drifts-but theyll take your packages out. Office staff didnt seem to care when I told them. Clearly Elevate isnt willing to pay for enough staff. Its a shame because this has been a good place to live, but theyre driving it into the ground.

Im 64 years old and have health problems. I live on upper apartment. In October the lady in office told me she would be at my place at 4 pm to check out my place to make sure there was no damage. She never came and when I went to office she never apologized or rescheduled. I have 20 steps to go up when it snows they arent shoveled and when it rains they are slippery. My first apartment the kitchen and bedroom ceilings caved in due to frozen pipes. They dont answer phones. I reported neighbors moved out and left all windows open for 3 weeks no one shut them Im sure heat was going out windows.

I find it extremely interesting that I receive the canned response to my 1 star rating telling me to contact the leasing office. I have made several attempts to do so with zero return phone call nor response to my various emails that have been sent to the leasing office. Therein lies the issue, unfortunately. I love the building I live in. The management leaves a lot to be desired. Absolutely zero response to requests other than, please be patient. It took several months to get one work order completed, again with zero input from the leasing office other than "be patient". I'm not confident that the team is equipped to be able to assist with any future work orders, should one arise which is also extremely unfortunate. I could go on and on; however, at this point, all I would like to see is an actual response from your team. I know I am not the only resident who feels this way. I have even tried reaching out to the corporate office with zero response.

No point in describing why it's bad, the company just has auto generated responses/paid people to respond that isn't the company. Just look at all the reviews here and believe them. Will also be reviewing the particular property I'm at, at a later date. I would stay away from any property that is "managed" by this company. 3 months later still no security deposit. Have reported to local authorities. Stay as far away from this company as you can. New edit, it's now March still no security deposit check from November. I highly advise anyone and everyone to stay away from this management company. I have been run thru the ropes for reasons it's not been sent to me or why it has yet to get to me. All my calls have been met with "we are trying, but it's corporates fault". Or "here's a pdf picture of the check that was sent", that doesn't prove its been sent. On top of that it would appear that they are trying to return half of what the deposit is and no itemized list as to what was removed from my deposit. So essentially saying "we are taking your money, go away". Having talked with the fair housing they told me the only other course of action is small claims court. Really hope this gets resolved.

Started out ok until some tenants on the 3rd floor starts shoveling loads of ice and snow directly in front of our ground floor passage door that my Grandchildren, wife, myself and our small dog travels through. 25 pounds of ice and snow falling 25 feet is very dangerous. I talked to the Regional Manager to ask them to shovel the ice and snow off the side of the deck onto the rock garden where nobody passed under. She said it was their right to shovel their deck and she couldn't do that. I asked her so they have a right to shovel ice and snow on my families heads and injuring them? She pretty much said yes they do. All I asked was to have them shovel off the side so no one gets hurt. By rights if they continue this unsafe inconsiderate act they should have someone on the ground to prevent an injury. I feel unsafe here as several of the security door locks are broke, the garage doors are broke in the open position for a week and someone was parked in the street and in the garage the other day trying to get in cars. My wife gets home after dark in the parking garage and there are no security cameras and poorly lit. If the Regional Manager refuses to address a safety issue due to negligence and my family or myself are injured it will be taken to another level. This Regional manager has gotten bad reviews from everyone I have talked to in this complex. She threatened me with an infraction (maybe she needs one) if I ask the people upstairs to shovel over the side as harassment not to mention the mud and water that gets splattered all over our stuff, side of building and sliding door and on me as I was on porch.
