Steve is great at what he does! His attention to detail is remarkable. He is meticulous about his work and every part of the deck was completed with precision. To say we are happy with the deck is an understatement. On top of that we appreciated Steve's communication with us on the project and his knowledge. Thanks for giving us a deck we can enjoy for years to come!

The steps that Steve built on Terry Schwante’s steps look incredible. Steve always kept us informed of his plans, when he would be working, and any other information regarding the steps. The craftsmanship that Steve puts into his work is second to none and he made sure everything looked perfect before finishing the job. Highly recommend to anyone!

Steve is very meticulous and pays great attention to detail. He is very high in demand and has great communication skills. He used a computer program to lay out the appearance and design of our railing which was very impressive so we knew what to expect. He was very conscientious and careful when working. Once he started our project, he stayed until it was completed and he worked in a timely matter. We are very pleased with the end result and have received compliments from our neighbors. We would highly recommend Steve’s business- Decks by Design.

Steve is an artist working in a construction world. I first noticed when we made plans for the deck. He would use a computer program to lay out the appearance and schematics so that everyone was on the same page before the project even started. He was very meticulous and careful when working. They way he installed the stairs is unique, beautiful and very appreciated. I love how the deck turned out and I am looking forward to him doing some landscaping in the spring. The only thing you need to know is that since he is an artist his artwork takes time. It’s worth the wait.
