We have has adt for approximately 7 months and it is absolutely horrible from inconsistent statements promising you this or that then stating we can't offer you any of that.
Had a representative show up to our home to set up the equipment when all he did was flirt with my wife and set up a password that he knew as well causing a security breach.
I called to report all these issues and all I got was an apology, and the equipment still don't work properly.
If you're considering adt take my advice and look elsewhere.

A representative of this company stopped by my house to sell the service to me. I expressed I wasnt interested in changing my security options. After expressing this multiple times I closed my screen and proceeded to end things as the aggressive approach to keep trying to sale the product was absolutely absurd. He finally decided to leave after calling me a Karen. To be clear the definition of a Karen is:
Karen is a pejorative term used as slang for a middle-class white woman who is perceived as entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is normal.
I am a black woman who made clear I wasnt interested in changing my service. Not once, but three times before choosing to end the aggressive sale tactics that was occurring on my property. His behavior was gross, disrespectful, out of line and if he is who the company is using as a representative Im even further glad Im not interested in changing security options, especially with ADT. I warn that people be careful, these type of aggressive sales reps are concerning in more ways than one.

I signed for there services when I owned my home. I the house and now I can't get out of my contract. I'm paying $50 a month for a services I no longer use. They should have more flexibility. I have another 2 years to go.

ADT IS A SCAM This is hidden in their policy. There is so much more to this rabbit hole of a shady company that Im not even going to go into just dont fall for it. Heres a little piece(And this is just a tip of the iceberg) of what youre agreeing to with them and what youre getting yourself into
E. INDEMNITY. IF ANY OTHER PERSON, INCLUDING MY SUBROGATING INSURER, MAKES ANY CLAIM OR FILES ANY LAWSUIT AGAINST ADT IN ANY WAY RELATED TO (1) THE EQUIPMENT, EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION OR ADT SERVICES PROVIDED BY ADT TO ME OR (2) ANY INACCURACIES IN ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION, INCLUDING ANY CONTACT INFORMATION, PROVIDED BY ME TO ADT IN ORDER FOR ADT OR ITS REPRESENTATIVES TO COMMUNICATE WITH ME FOR ANY REASON, INCLUDING TELEPHONE CALLS, TEXT MESSAGES OR EMAILS REGARDING MY ADT SERVICES OR NEW ADT OR THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES, THEN I AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND AND HOLD ADT HARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL SUCH CLAIMS AND LAWSUITS, INCLUDING THE PAYMENT OF ALL DAMAGES, EXPENSES, COSTS AND ATTORNEYS' FEES. They have the worst customer service in the industry. We had to wait for 45 min to speak with a customer service on the phone. She told us to punch the key pads with different numbers and nothing worked. We then waited for another hour to speak with ADT "specialist" who had us go through the same thing by punch key pads repeatedly and again nothing worked. Then, she said the next step was to schedule an appointment, not in house visit but a virtual one. It has been a nightmare working with this company.
