Dermatology Consultants

I have been a long time patient of Dr Sale and Dermatology Consults. I just tried to make an appointments as I have things that I need to be seen for that are making me nervous for skin cancer that runs in my family. I called today April 4th and was told I couldnt get in until July. I asked out of curiosity when I could get in if I wanted Botox (which I do not want) and then said I could get in the first week of May. I explained that is very frustrating and that for a cosmetic appt where Id be injecting toxins in my body they can get me in that quickly. But for a cancer concern its 2.5 more months to get in. Are there any doctors or dermatologists anymore that arent just about the money grab? Really disappointing.

My dermatologist of many years retired, so I sought a new clinic close to home. Over the years Ive been reluctant to turn to Dermatology Consultants on Snelling because of the mix of negative and positive reviews here. I did recently contact a clinic on Ford Parkway, and only after meeting with them did I realize its the same Dermatology Consultants that was on Snelling. Ive had three appointments with them so far, and Im very pleased; I regret I didnt go to them sooner. Every interaction Ive had from scheduling, to intake, to nurses, to physicians, to follow-up has been professional, courteous and efficient. I dont question the experiences of some other reviewers here, but I can say without qualification that mine was positive.

Seeing these negative reviews got me scared coming here for my appointment but it went very well for my experience today. The purple haired receptionist was very friendly and Aschenbeck went straight to the point of solving my issue which I really like. Jasmine that was with us was really nice as well.

I got to my appointment early and was told the doctor was running behind. That was no problem, as I understand these things happen. The appointment felt pretty rushed and my doctor mentioned a prescription she would call in. This wasn't in the notes and it never got called in. When I called back, my initial call wasn't returned. When I called again they said they couldn't do anything over the phone as it wasn't in the notes from my visit. Pretty frustrating to force me to pay for another visit for the same thing when they made the mistake the first time.
