Worked with this company for a long time and saw many changes for better or worse but as time went on, some of the people ( I say some because not all the top people in charge were bad in fact a lot of them were kind) in charge became increasingly hostile towards many of the lower staff as I was made aware that many of my co-workers were being treated unfairly and let go very suddenly without much chance to explain themselves or be able to try to improve themselves as we are all learning and growing professionally. The biggest thing I can say that would improve the situation there is to decrease the amount of chatter because the office politics and drama that was caused was what made it so unpleasant, people would literally get hurt from it career wise. A simple thing like talking someone behind their back is so unprofessional and so many rumors cause people to turn against each other. I liked Bridges MN and the company but not certain staff that would make something small into something big and placing all the blame on whoever they choose to pick on that day. I hope the best for the future staff but for all its staffing issues, there's a reason for WHY they are so understaffed. It's because of the lack of job security, lack of mobility, lack of respect among each other on staff and a lack of communication which could have solved all the issues and bringing up any issues between employee-manager relationships that could prevent rumors into being write-ups and incidents into finger pointing just to make themselves look good to Department of Human Services. Even when a manager says something to you, a simple clarification or clear up could have prevented any kind of escalation in the first place especially when all job duties are being taken care of. All in all, the understaffed and issues that prevail will end up speaking for themselves and ones who suffer from these predicaments will just end up moving on to companies that will treat their staff a little better with a clear sense of communication if there are any issues.
