We have only ordered take out from here recently and enjoyed it. The building is a bit dated, and the entire space could use a little TLC. The food was very good and the price was lower than what I would pay a few blocks away in St. Paul. We called ahead and the order was hot and ready when we arrived to pick it up on a Friday evening. The gentleman who took my order was professional and helpful. Nice guy.

Let's put it this way: the place looks scary. It's a former gas station years ago and the decor leaves something to be desired. But the food is amazing. I haven't had anything I did not like. The egg roll salad is off-the-charts. They put the money and effort into the food, not the appearance of the restaurant. And they are fast, also.

Do not pay attention to the Poor-Fair/1 star reviewers... I have eaten at this place twice and both times have been excellent for service. The food has been great, the wait staff and owners have been very friendly and attentive, and the main dining area has been clean and comfortable. About the only drawback is that it is very easy to miss unless you know exactly where to look. As for the naysayers saying that there is stuff piled everywhere, neither of the two times I have been in there has that been true. Yes, some miscellaneous items are stacked against the wall and aren't hidden from view, but none of it is in the dining area and is easy to ignore once you area seated. The lighting is not bright like it would be at an Applebees, but I personally prefer to not have my eyes seared out by blaringly bright lighting. The place could definitely use more polish in terms of aesthetics, but anyone who bases their dining experiences solely on looks will be missing out on a good, affordable, and non-typical establishment.
