Can't leave my home right now due to medical reasons and when I called to find out my prescription because my glasses broke she said I could only get it if I came in. I will not be back. You lost a customer.

They do not honor their scheduled appointments. Staff was dismissive and unhelpful.

I came in at my scheduled time. I received a text stating that my appointment was at 2 pm and never mentioned anything about needing to come 15 minutes early. The receptionist sounded very annoyed when I walked in at my scheduled time and stated that I should've been there at 1:45. The doctor was very professional, kind and extremely helpful. Apart from that he did not disclose to me that a contact prescription would be extra money and considered separate from my eye exam. Seems like they should let people know that before they start offering other things in an eye exam. I was very surprised when I was charged $60 for something I wasn't even considering right now and thought I might as well get it if it's offered at the eye exam. I will not come back. I don't like being charged for things that I don't need and I wouldn't have gotten the contact prescription had I known it cost extra.

I came in with a prescription, just needing frames, and received the best customer service I've ever received at an optical shop (and I've been to a lot). James and Mandy were fantastic in their interactions with me as well as every customer I saw them talk to while I was there. They were friendly, kind, and attentive. They helped me pick out frames that look great and they also helped me figure out which lenses would be best for my crazy complicated prescription. Kudos and many thanks to this team. Can't wait to get my new glasses! **update** My glasses arrived earlier than expected and they are phenomenal. In the past, I've prioritized stores that focus on frames, and have been disappointed in the quality of lenses. My last two pairs of glasses were inexplicably awful, causing me to wonder about finally getting eye surgery. These lenses are amazing - and they're my first progressive lenses, too. No "dead spots" in the lens at all. I'm very impressed and have already recommended Pearle to about 3 people. Also, they accept and donate used glasses, so I can finally get rid of the old pairs piling up around my house. Thank you, Pearle Highland Park!
