I only go to this branch when I am in a hurry because its very close to my home, its my neighborhood bank.
I usually don't have good service and I should know better to just go further out to the Roseville branch 2690 Snelling Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113 its a little bit out of the way but its cleaner and the employees are always professional and very nice.
I went to the 2383 University ave St. Paul MN 55114 location on Saturday, Dec 1, 2018. I did the walk up window service as I wanted to make sure there wasn't an issue. I told the teller (who looked like she just rolled out of bed in her wrinkled clothes, messy hair, NO SHOES, wearing superman socks! lucky we were separated by the thick glass because from her looks she probably didn't brush her teeth either. I'm so disgusted!) that I wanted to cash my check and deposit it. It took a long while for her to do this simple task. She gave me my transaction slip back and some of the cash from the deposit. I asked her to change some smaller bills into larger bills and this task was asking too much as she appeared and acted as though she had no clue on how to do this?! I was getting impatient and did not want to go off on her, so I simply asked for my small bills back and left. Now I should have checked the transaction to make sure it was performed as requested because come to find out this messy looking teller did not do as requested and made my funds unavailable until close of next business day (Tuesday, ugh!)
I went in Monday 12-3-18 in the morning and asked to speak with this branch teller manager. One of the tellers asked if there was something he could help with (thank you for asking, very kind gesture). I advised no it was something the manager needed to address. He went to the office to notify her that someone needed to speak to her. I over heard heard her say "Give me 5 minutes". The young man came over and updated me, I said thank you. I waited in the lobby for almost 20 minutes and was never readdressed that it was taking longer than expected, please wait. So I got up and left. My issue never addressed because now I see that the reason the tellers can go to work on the weekend looking like a HOT MESS is because the teller manager here is just as unprofessional... If I could give this place 0 stars I definitely would!!!!
I will just continue to go to the branch in Roseville!

Thanks to Elizabeth Waltman - the branch manager, this is the first time that I have something to complain about US Bank. I have been a US Bank customer for over 6 years, I have checking, saving, loans, business checking, almost everything with them. I used non-us-bank debit card on an atm at their location and entered a wrong password by mistake. The machine retained my card and give me a receipt said "card retained - contact the bank." I called the next day, a gentleman took my contact info and said The ATM people will take the retained cards out and destroy, they may have no way to get it back, and they need to issue me a new card. I explained this card is not from us bank, and ask if there's any way to get it back. He said since it'd be a different issue, he would try to do something, and if nothing happened, I would need to talk to the branch manager. I waited two days before I was able to talk to Elizabeth. It's the worst customer service I have ever got. She seemed to think I am not a US Bank customer, and my call seemed to bother her, not sure if she was in the middle of something. In the end she told me a different story "The atm destroys all cards when it retains it" with raised voice. First time ever in my life I felt not welcomed to call a bank and tried to ask for help.
