Superior is my go-to shop for anything landscape related. Their staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate that every person Ive spoken to is genuine, helpful and giving me the best recommendations so my plants thrive. I also love the boutique items that they stock and have found so many fun items that wouldnt be expected at a typical garden center (jewelry, home decor, gifts, etc). Looking forward to see what you have in store this spring!

Craig and crew are the real deal. Creative design, punctual workers and an eye for detail is what sets Superior apart from others. We are three years out from Superior redesigning and regrading our backyard and our yard looks better and better each year. There is always something blooming and our kids love running around the space!

We have had Superior do multiple projects for us over the past few years. They replaced the original paver patio in our backyard using much better quality materials and a much better design than we had previously. We also had them pull out all the old, straggly, overgrown plants we had put in when we first built the house, reshape some of the landscaping beds and put in a beautiful new mixture of trees, shrubs and flowering plants with an eye toward being lower maintenance than what we had previously. All along the way, there was clear communication, attention to detail, and responsiveness to questions and requests. The work crews were fantastic as well. They were able to handle the narrow spaces between our house and our neighbors' without any issues. They exhibited close attention to all the details. We couldn't be happier with the results and have received many complements from neighbors on how beautiful it all looks. We had used different landscapers when we first moved into this house, and while they may have been a little cheaper overall, the quality was not great. Another example of you get what you pay for. Warning to any potential customers. Superior Lawn & Landscape engages in very deceptive marketing tactics.
I had started a landscape project and was looking for someone to come finish installing edging, mulch and plants. The back yard I asked for grading and sod. as well as mulch and edging on 2 existing berms.
Long story short, Superior Lawn and Landscape came out and spent 30min walking the yard with me going over clear detail on what I was looking for. He verbally quoted me $15,000 to finish the back yard. In his own words, this 15k was to cover grading, sod as well as a single knee high bolder retaining wall (which I did not ask for). In addition to this, his quote would include finishing up some front landscaping that just needed edging, plants and mulch. The front was not part of the 15k estimate, however the front should have been much less work.
He then asks for a $2,000 up front credit card payment for a "design plan" which I thought was a bit ridiculous. I was not asking for an intricate patio paver design or anything, literally to install some plants, mulch and grade a yard. I even provided him my existing detailed plan.
3 weeks later, I get a nice quote for $55,706. He gives me this line that "I know this is more than you asked, but I wanted to do this as if I was landscaping my own house". Ironically, he fed this exact same line to one of my neighbors and pulled the same marking stunt on them by giving them a verbal quote, getting a down payment and then jacking up the actual quote. I asked him to please requote ONLY the backyard, since the front was esentially complete, I wanted to focus on grading, sod and the mulch. the 15k target he quoted.
The revised quote for only the backyard came in $45,490. Even still 3X the verbal quote. So 45 grand to sod and put in a row of rocks that he told me would be 15. Pretty sketchy. This didn't even include the mulch, he was going to dump it in my driveway and wanted me to wheel barrow it around myself.
Some items he had in the quote included $6600 of fees and surcharges. This comprised of 760 equipment fee, 600 delivery fees, 485 daily site prep fees, 1092 fuel surcharge fee, 3704 "misc applicable surcharges and insurance"
As mentioned, after this ordeal, I spoke with some neighbors and discovered Superior Lawn did the exact same thing to them. A nice fair sounding verbal quote to get your down payment money, then slapping you with an enormous quote, 3X the verbal.
DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY MONEY FOR A DOWN PAYMENT UNLESS YOU GET YOUR VERBAL QUOTE IN WRITING UP FRONT!!!!!
Also, they have been mailing me false invoices for lawn treatment and fertilizing all year, which I did not ask for, and they certainly have not been doing. I called in but the woman on the phone never called me back like she said she would.
