It's really not tfc anymore and every since the changed ownership it's been a mess. They took the change machine out why, stupid idea. I use to love tcf nowadays they save something good then they mess with the recipe

I started banking with TCF when I moved here from NY because I need a local bank here. I already have another bank and had to go online since they don’t have my bank here. I have been disappointed with TCF lately because my account numbers was stolen last year and someone made purchases online. It went down to negative balance. No body called me and notified me about it until I found out myself. I’m glad I don’t put much money in this account. A few days ago I stopped by to cash a check from my other bank but the teller told me I couldn’t cash that check because I have only $150 in my account. I asked why can’t I cash the check. Her answer was you have to deposit this check to be able to cash the check and she cannot verify the other account. She made it sound like my HSBC online account doesn’t exist and have no money in it. That’s the reason why I don’t want to put money in TCF bank account. I transfer money from my other account from time to time. My husband and I started banking with Spire Credit Union now and love it. I will keep TCF for now and maybe close this account soon.
