I would never go back to this therapist. She said: Can I play devils advocate? And then she gave her opinion on a situation that I was dealing with at work that resulted in only making me feel worse. A psychologist never gives their opinion on a situation. Ever. Especially when youre trying to help them with psychological issues.

I would not recommend this therapist! I contacted her to see if I could get an appointment that day to talk about something that was really bothering me. It was a parenting (teen) matter. I really needed to figure something out and how to approach something urgently. However, I last minute did not have anyone to care for my younger boys (5 and 7). Knowing how ANNOYED she gets when an appointment has to be cancelled for emergencies, I made the decision to bring them up with me. I figured since nobody else was in the office because we went up after her last appointment, it would be okay if the boys waited for me while reading their books. Nope. She would not see me and even went so far as to say "What is that on my couch? Is that a juice box? " I said that indeed it was a juice box, but that it was empty and proceeded to throw it in the garbage. She then said "Because I had another Mom pay to have my couch professionally cleaned for the same reason!" She would not allow me to even speak with her about my issue even though as a therapist she should have been able to recognize the need! She sent me (and my boys) away. I went elsewhere and would never recommend her. Not only that, but my daughter and I have gone to her previously and we discontinued our visits with her because we got nothing out of it. I should have learned the first time but decided to give her another try because we didn't know anyone else. She's self absorbed and money hungry and comes off as rude and mean! Find someone else who cares and is warm and compassionate because she is definitely NOT that! For the record, I would have been more understanding had she been more warm and caring in regards to me needing to bring my boys up! RUDE!

Jeanne has been wonderful, caring, and exactly what I needed. She is a very calming presence with insightful questions, and knows the right time to just let you talk. She is a great listener and I felt very comfortable discussing my personal 'issues' with her. Her office is very private which made me feel secure. The most important quality in a therapist, aside from integrity, is that you can 'connect' with them - that their approach to life aligns with yours, and that they are intuitive, superb listeners, and not entrenched in textbook dogma. She is a wonderful psychologist and I would recommend her to anyone.
