Geek Squad

We were the victims of a phishing scam just before Christmas. A fake website with a fake geek squad phone number. The next day we took the laptop involved to the Richfield Best Buy. They could not have been more responsive. The door greeter immediately got both the store manager and the regional manager involved. They heard our story and involved the site manager for Geek Squad. He took our information and the laptop. They ran a deep test and removed a bad program. They then advised us to bring in our other computers one at a time to have those checked. Which we did. I even brought in an older laptop. They helped update it for a small cost in parts, so now I have another serviceable laptop. In all it took about a month to get it all done. At every appointment, they were timely and very helpful. They were very reassuring. What started out as a potential disaster became a net gain. I have had Total Tech support for a few years as kind of an insurance for all the possible tech disasters. This year I have definitely gotten my moneys worth. Special shout out to Joe and Zane. They were great. I kinda miss seeing them on a weekly basis.

Excellent excellent customer service, in particular a shout out to Joe who helped me and talked to me like a human being, rather than following a script. Made things easy to understand and helped me (who is not a computer literate person) understand my device
