Kopper Kettle Restaurant

location is closed but the folks on the Google Maps team refuse to accept it. I get their sentiment tho. I miss this place too. It was a great, local place for breakfast. They had one of my favorite menu items which is two eggs, bacon, and french toast. Good food. Sad it see it go.

Peruvian dishes were excellent. My husband and I went there last weekend and we order ceviche, tamales and lomo saltado, three dishes were delicious. I highly recommend it.

I just ate there for the 3rd time since moving to Maple Grove. My top pick for breakfast would be either Original Pancake House (any location) or the Eggie's in Minneapolis that has been closed many years. I didn't discover Kopper Kettle until 1 year after moving to MG. What I found is food very much like what I had been spoiled with at Eggie's. Their American fries are not like Eggie's, but they are as good. Perfectly cooked little morsels of potato that have a slightly crispy outside and NO extra grease. Oh My! I always get them with scrambled eggs and toast. This is plain, delicious home-cooked food, folks. And the coffee may be a little on the weak site for some, especially those used to OPH, but it's not bitter and you can drink a lot to wash down this great meal and not get the jitters. :-)

I eat here at least once a week for breakfast and lunch and really like the food.
