This campground has been a place of growth and discovery for our family for the last 13 summers . It has provided us with countless opportunities to explore the great outdoors, to reconnect with nature, and to appreciate the simple pleasures of life. From riding Atvs in three of surrounding State Parks or swimming in the crystal-clear lake or pool, every moment spent here has been a reminder of the beauty and wonder that surrounds .Every Year the owners do something improve our experience and love this place .

The cabins and beds are small for how much you pay. Service and our time there was fun until it came to the end. When we went to settle the bill, they informed us that they changed their prices AFTER we booked and told us we had to pay their new prices. I have never experienced that! As much as we enjoyed ourselves, we will not be back due to the price and quality of cabins.

We have ben coming to R&D, for about 35 years to start off as a weekender with the JC group then we started going in the tent area as a family my oldest is 29 years and my grandkids youngest is 4 and they all enjoy the kid friendly activities and pool area. We have been through many different typ of campers but we love R&D and it has brought so many great memories.

R & D is a great place to unwind and reconnect with your loved ones. A family member we visited many times camps there and convinced us to come out. There is a kiddy pool and regular pool. The lodge space is great on a rainy day with tables games and video games. There is lake access for your boat or you can rent a pontoon at the office. Plenty of lake toys....kayaks, canoes etc! Also can't forget ice cream for those really hot days!
