Oakdale Family Dentistry

Had a lot of hope for this place but absolutely not. DO NOT GO HERE. dental hygienist said we have to do this fast um nono we dont just because your behind patients, youre telling me that my care has to be compromised and done fast because you are behind patients. Then I ask her are you using hot water? Her reply I have it warm then I let her know that she was burning My gums with the water. She replied, huh didnt think about that I am the son of an orthodontist and general dentist who have been in the field for over 25+ years the incompetence here is simply amazing and if this is how the hygienist acts then the doctors here are fully incompetent and unable to truly care for patients. One thing that I have consistently noticed about this clinic is that the staff clearly care more about money and patient turnaround than patient care. This place should be shut down because one day they are going to hurt someone.

Years ago, I went to this dentist, and he told me I had five cavities. That did not sit right with me, so I got a second opinion from a different dentist in the area who said I had no cavities. The 'cavities' Oakdale family dentistry supposedly had found were natural grooves in my teeth that had some discoloration. Do not go to Oakdale family dentistry. They will rip you off.

I have always had a great experience with this dentist as everyone is always super friendly and super close to home.  I had one scheduling mishap one of the times and they figure out a way to fix it, so I didn't have to wait for very long.  They take multiple types of insurance, just depends on the actual dentist within the facility.

This review is not necessarily for Oakdale, but is regarding a Dentist -Carl Rindelaub, DDS.  Let me start off by saying that he was phenomenal.  Everything about the interaction with him was pleasant.  I contacted Blaine Kidds Pediatrics on 3/17/23 because my 11yr. old daughter needed a tooth pulled immediately.  Dr. Carl and a wonderful employee of the front staff named Daisy (hope I spelled that correctly) immediately worked to accommodate our needs.  There was no hesitation, or lack or professionalism.  They immediately requested the records from the current dental office, the Dr.'s reviewed my child's X-rays and followed up immediately as to what they could do for us.  Dr. Carl accommodated a same day appointment and stayed late to fit us in. He was not rushed or impatient.  He cared for my daughter with compassion fully explaining what would take place.  The staff was also very attentive.  I will be setting appointments for my other children at Blaine Kidds and even myself at Oakdale although I am in Ramsey.  I will travel to be treated well.  THANK YOU MR. CARL!!!!!
